Job Summary

As the Team Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of key IT systems, including M365, Proofpoint, Google Workspace, and Active Directory. Your role involves overseeing a team of IT professionals, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the reliability and security of these critical systems.

The expected pay range for this position is $133,000 – 193,000 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.

Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals responsible for the operational management of M365, Proofpoint, Google Workspace, and AD.
    • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the team. 
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of M365, Proofpoint, Google Workspace, and AD.
    • Ensure systems are running efficiently, and issues are promptly addressed.
    • Lead the team in responding to and resolving system related incidents.
    • Coordinate with support teams and stakeholders to address and communicate incident resolutions.  
    • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for the systems under management.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Monitor system performance and lead efforts to optimize performance.
    • Plan and coordinate system upgrades and patches in collaboration with relevant teams.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and communication.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on the status of operations.  
    • Foster the professional development of team members through training and skill-building initiatives.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.  
    • Ensure the team maintains accurate and up to date documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • Continuously improve operational processes to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in team leadership within an IT operations environment.
    • Strong technical understanding of M365, Proofpoint, Google Workspace, and Active Directory.
    • Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Certifications

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Google Workspace Administrator, and other related certifications are a plus.
