About the role
The job of Commercial Analyst will play a key role in provision of timely and accurate analysis and insight of data from UCL’s systems. You’ll provide timely analytical support for C&PS’s ‘business as usual’ activities, and also for individual programmes, projects and procurement activities. Working with Strategy and Operations and the wider C&PS team, you’ll identify and analyse measures to support performance management and procurement and commercial contract management activity.
This is very much a developmental role, which will provide a great opportunity to gain commercial experience and skills.
About you
To do this job you’ll need to be:
-Educated to at least Advanced Level standard and additionally possess a GCSE grade A*-C in English and Mathematics
-Able to produce accurate and detailed work, have good organisational and analytical skills and have some relevant experience in the development and maintenance of effective record keeping
-Have experience of, and be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in, the use of relevant IT applications, including Excel, the wider Microsoft Office suite and maintaining databases
-Able to produce complex, detailed reports including data analyses using spreadsheets and other analytical tools
