A successful and thriving CA practice is looking for a Commercial Audit Manager to join their management team in Edinburgh. People are integral to the culture of this firm, and this is reflected in their impressive history of developing and progressing auditors and accountants from training, through to senior management, as well as their time spent supporting local charity and community groups outside of the office.As part of a strategic growth plan, the audit team now seek an Audit Manager to support a varied and growing commercial client portfolio. As Manager, you will have direct contact and responsibility for managing audit assignments for many high profile owner-managed businesses, small private companies and international groups across a range of sectors. You will work with an established team of trainees and qualified auditors in a collaborative and progressive working environment. Due to the potential of this opportunity, the pathway to Senior manager and beyond will be very much part of the discussion throughout the recruitment process.Flexibility is offered within a hybrid working week (preferably 2-3 days spent in the office with your team) to provide staff management, training, development and mentoring. Travel to client sites and other offices will also be required throughout the year, however this will be for sign-off, meeting and training purposes only.The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in an external audit role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audits and motivating colleagues to ensure a high level of client service. They will be a driven and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills – collaboration is king in this team!If you are a qualified CA/ACA/ACCA working in UK commercial audit, or looking to increase your commercial audit exposure, we would be very keen to hear from you.
