We’re fans of people who love to learn (and fail).About the role.Our Commercial Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to come and join us at our fulfilment site in Wrexham. The successful candidate will help support the delivery of operations strategy and help identify sustainable operational efficienciesKey Responsibilities

  • To provide financial support and advice to the operational teams ensuring targets are communicated, understood and deliverable.
  • Create, maintain, and automate reports, provide analysis and insight for the management team and ensure robust financial controls are in place.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting
  • Monitor and communicate performance against budget and targets with operational teams and Group finance
  • Jointly accountable for the fulfilment centre annual operation plan alongside the Wrexham leadership team.
  • Provide variance analysis with adequate commentary and aid operational management in the interpretation of results

About youA finance professional with a proven track record of delivering high quality reporting

  • A full/part qualified accountant, technically strong with the ability to deal with complexity and communicate complex financial matters in simple terms
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-pace environment and tight time constraints, with accuracy and attention to detail

A mentality that is passionate about making a difference

  • Someone that can work with their stakeholders to define what will be making the biggest difference to performance in year and in future years and get it delivered
  • They can build positive relationships to become an integral member of the division
  • A continuous improvement approach to focus on value add through automation and prioritisation

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret critical information and data.
  • Able to exercise sound commercial judgement and have the confidence to recommend a course of action to the business based on financial insight.
  • Confident providing constructive independent challenge to the business to ensure strong financial basis in decision making process
