Communication and Outreach Specialist

Are you passionate about conservation, storytelling, and community engagement? We’re looking for a Full-Time Communications and Outreach Specialist to help strengthen our visibility, reputation, and connection with the communities we serve.

In this role, you’ll craft compelling messages and promote the District’s mission, goals, and services across multiple platforms, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and public events. You’ll develop and implement outreach strategies, collaborate with team members, and build meaningful relationships with community members, media, and partners to amplify the District’s impact.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and execute outreach plans that engage diverse audiences.

✅ Manage digital content, social media, and publications to ensure consistent, brand-aligned messaging.

✅ Respond to public inquiries and monitor public perception to maintain a positive reputation.

✅ Collaborate with team members to highlight the District’s programs, achievements, and environmental initiatives.
