tendersglobal.net

An opportunity to work for an inspirational Welsh charity which is restoring nature and
connecting people to this wild place, in a magnificent geographical area.

* The ability to communicate in both Welsh and English is essential for this role.*

About Us

Coetir Anian (Cambrian Wildwood) manages a 142 hectare site with ancient woodland and upland
peat bog near Glaspwll, Machynlleth. We are restoring habitats and wildlife to establish a
flourishing, natural landscape and engaging a diverse range of people through education,
wellbeing, and nature connection programmes.

Our new strategy (2024-2034) sets out additional priorities to discover, preserve and tell the
stories of the land around Bwlch Corog and the cultural heritage of the local community: oral
histories, old roads and routes through the hills, prehistoric and archaeological monuments and
artefacts, old maps, interpretation of pollen records, and more recent stories of people on the
land through our project. These stories will be told in Welsh and in English, alongside and
intertwined with stories of the natural history of Bwlch Corog, giving a strong sense of place
to those involved.

About the role

The Communications & Heritage Development Manager will be responsible for planning and
managing our communications through all channels, producing and publishing content, developing
and implementing our communications plan and defining our key audiences, ensuring our messaging
and brand support our purpose.

In addition, this role will lead on the development of a plan to implement our new strategic
priorities around discovering, preserving and telling the stories of the land around Bwlch
Corog and the cultural heritage of the local community.

The ability to communicate in both Welsh and English will be key to this role, providing the
skills to develop bilingual communication materials, and to understand the cultural heritage of
the local community.

This post requires a dynamic individual who will engage with all types of media and
communication channels, and one who is prepared to visit our site regularly and travel for
meetings, talks and other events. A passion for nature restoration and connecting people to
nature is essential.

Cyfle i weithio i elusen Gymreig ysbrydoledig sy’n adfer byd natur ac yn cysylltu pobl â’r lle
gwyllt hwn, mewn ardal ddaearyddol odidog.

*Mae’r gallu i gyfathrebu trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg yn hanfodol ar gyfer y swydd hon.*

Amdanom ni

Mae Coetir Anian yn rheoli safle 142 hectar gyda choetir hynafol a mawndir ucheldir ger
Glaspwll, Machynlleth. Rydym yn adfer cynefinoedd a bywyd gwyllt i sefydlu tirwedd naturiol
lewyrchus ac yn ymgysylltu ag ystod amrywiol o bobl trwy raglenni addysg, lles a chysylltiadau
natur.

Mae ein strategaeth newydd (2024-2034) yn nodi blaenoriaethau ychwanegol i ddarganfod, cadw ac
adrodd hanesion y tir o amgylch Bwlch Corog a threftadaeth ddiwylliannol y gymuned leol: hanes
llafar, hen ffyrdd a llwybrau trwy’r bryniau, henebion cynhanesyddol ac archeolegol ac
arteffactau, hen fapiau, dehongliad o gofnodion paill, a straeon mwy diweddar am bobl ar y tir
trwy ein prosiect. Bydd y straeon hyn yn cael eu hadrodd yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg, ochr yn ochr
â, ac yn cydblethu â, straeon am hanes naturiol Bwlch Corog, gan roi ymdeimlad cryf o le i’r
rhai sy’n cymryd rhan.

Ynglŷn â’r rôl

Bydd y Rheolwr Cyfathrebu a Datblygu Treftadaeth yn gyfrifol am gynllunio a rheoli ein
cyfathrebiadau trwy bob sianel, cynhyrchu a chyhoeddi cynnwys, datblygu a gweithredu ein
cynllun cyfathrebu a diffinio ein cynulleidfaoedd allweddol, gan sicrhau bod ein negeseuon a’n
brand yn cefnogi ein pwrpas.

Yn ogystal, bydd y rôl hon yn arwain ar ddatblygu cynllun i weithredu ein blaenoriaethau
strategol newydd o gwmpas darganfod, cadw ac adrodd hanesion y tir o amgylch Bwlch Corog a
threftadaeth ddiwylliannol y gymuned leol.

Bydd y gallu i gyfathrebu yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg yn allweddol i’r rôl hon, gan ddarparu’r
sgiliau i ddatblygu deunyddiau cyfathrebu dwyieithog, ac i ddeall treftadaeth ddiwylliannol y
gymuned leol.

Mae’r swydd hon yn gofyn am unigolyn deinamig a fydd yn ymgysylltu â phob math o gyfryngau a
sianeli cyfathrebu, ac un sy’n barod i ymweld â’n safle yn rheolaidd a theithio ar gyfer
cyfarfodydd, sgyrsiau a digwyddiadau eraill. Mae angerdd dros adfer natur a chysylltu pobl â
natur yn hanfodol.
