The Role

SVI is seeking a Communications & Marketing Advisor who will be responsible for supporting the development of tools and activities to promote the Institute, increase awareness of its brand and its work, and nurture key stakeholders.

The role will support the development of the annual Communications Plan and will work as part of the broader team to implement its output across a range of channels including internal, digital, and external.

Who we are seeking:

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, graphic design or similar
  • A working understanding of best practice digital communication techniques, including use of website CMS, EDM platforms, and social media channels.
  • Strong written and verbal skills including editing, proofing and plain English business writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple manner.
  • Experience in marketing operations and processes, including the design, targeting and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaign activity.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders in the development and delivery of marketing and communications support.
  • Familiarity with standard analytics techniques and reporting on effectiveness of marketing and digital communications projects.

To be considered you shall be required to provide evidence you have permanent working rights in Australia or hold a relevant working visa to work full-time hours, as well as being fully vaccinated for COVID-19. You will also be asked to undergo a police check.

Salary:

Ranging from $72,388 to $92,655 per annum (commensurate with experience), plus 11% superannuation. The salary applied will be dependent upon the successful candidates’ current level, experience and qualifications.

In addition, we offer up to $15,900 FBT exempt salary packaging and up to $2,650 FBT exempt meals and entertainment packaging.
