The Renewable Hydrogen Coalition (RHC) is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

The RHC promotes the critical role of renewables and renewable hydrogen to deliver the EU’s long-term decarbonisation goals. The Coalition is the voice of leading companies, start-ups, investors, innovators, and industrial off-takers all dedicated to making Europe the global leader in renewable hydrogen solutions. Since its launch, the Coalition has seen the number of its supporters growing, reflecting a vivid interest in renewable hydrogen as an essential solution to fully decarbonise and make Europe more energy secure.

Your responsibilities:

Reporting to the RHC Impact Director, the Communications Manager will be responsible to shape and deliver the RHC advocacy and communications activities including:

  • Organise our flagship annual Renewable Hydrogen Summit including coordinating work with RHC’s founding partners as well as the dissemination, registration and logistics. Same with other RHC events;
  • Develop and deliver RHC’s awareness raising and communication strategy and campaigns;
  • Plan, draft and publish RHC newsletters;
  • Update, proofread RHC’s website content and improve the website performance;
  • Manage RHC’s social media channels and produce creative, out of the box, content;
  • Reflect market and policy developments in news items and contents for the website and social media channels.

Your profile

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in fields such as communications, marketing;
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in communications, with experience coordinating communication campaigns. Experience in brand management is a strong asset;
  • Native or near native level of English. Knowing one or more other European language is an asset;
  • Experience in website management, familiar with WordPress is desirable;
  • Experience in social media management and development, including creating digital content;
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders, especially with corporates and journalists;
  • Sound diplomatic judgement, good inter-personal skills and networking ability;
  • Sound organisational skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work well under deadlines;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Based in Brussels and able to work in Belgium.
