What We Can Achieve Together:
The Communications Manager (NY) manages and implements focused communication and/or marketing tactics that facilitate understanding, adoption and advancement of the organization’s goals and objectives. They will be a part of the New York Division marketing team and will report to the Associate Director.
This Communications Manager is responsible for creating and executing the strategic Internal communications for the New York Division and the communications with our Volunteer Leaders, primarily the New York Board of Trustees (Board). You will be plugged-in to all the work that’s taking place across the Division so that you can create compelling and motivating updates for the wider Division and Volunteer Leaders. You will research, write and distribute a wide variety of communication materials including but not limited to: Executive Director emails, talking points and remarks, Division-wide newsletters, Intranet updates, Volunteer Leader emails, reports and presentations, Town Hall agendas, special event flyers, strategic plans and more. You will manage a host of logistics and interconnected moving parts and pieces. You will become a trusted confidant of the New York Executive Director and New York Executive Team in order to advise them and gain approval on your work. You will serve as a partner to the entire New York Division in order to develop communications that satisfy their evolving needs.
