We deliver evidence-based programs and services in the peaceful, natural environment of a garden setting to support people of all abilities. Our experienced and multidisciplinary team work with our participants to help them reach their goals.
the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic creative thinker to support and deliver our marketing and communication strategy at Kevin Heinze Grow (KHG).
Supported by the CEO and senior team you will create effective and impactful marketing and communications content.
Your key tasks will involve assisting in the development and delivery of key KHG communication tasks including:
- Regular internal and external organisation updates via newsletters and weekly email updates
- Plan and deliver regular social media content promoting Kevin Heinze Grow programs and activities
- Development and maintenance of the Kevin Heinze Grow website
- Liaison with external channels to deliver promotional messages including local council, local media, schools, support coordinators, community groups and organisations.
- Design and maintain KHG marketing materials.
ABOUT you
Your strengths are collaboration and thinking creatively. Bringing your experience in marketing and communications where you have produced a variety of written and visual communications across a range of traditional and digital communication channels.
Having experience in managing social media for an organisation or cause as well as knowledge of the suite of Adobe products including InDesign and web design are essential.
Using your highly developed time-management, attention to detail and organisational skills to get the job done.
Having an interest in and knowledge of disability, horticulture and/or community services is highly desirable.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Experience in marketing and communications
- Social media skills, preferably in a not-for-profit and/or social services context
- Graphic design skills with experience in Adobe suite of products (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
- Website development and maintenance
- Video editing skills & experience
- Experience using Mailchimp
- Capacity to build effective working relationships
- Ability to successfully work independently
- Highly developed attention to detail, time-management and organisational skills
- Possess a valid Working with Children, NDIS Worker Screening check, and up to date COVID-19 Vaccinations.
