| Posting Context Statement | The Idaho WWAMI Communication Specialist ensures effective internal and external communications by leading and collaborating on communication and marketing efforts within the unit and across campus. This position advances the reputation of IdahoWWAMI and its programs by acting as the chief content strategist to create purposeful and creative communications that are tied to the University’s brand and messaging. The incumbent provides communications and marketing in a variety of areas, including alumni relations, enrollment, advancement, social media, media and public relations, special events, and publications. The Communication Specialist will report to the Program Manager of the WWAMI Medical Education Program. |
| Position Overview | The Communications Specialist for the WWAMI Medical Education Program provides marketing and communications support for the program, as well as for research programs such as Idaho Project ECHO and the North Idaho Area Health Education Center. The incumbent provides communications and marketing strategies and information in a variety of areas to include social media, print media, public relations, advancement, special events, and various publications. |
