                                                         TERMS OF REFERENCE

Provide training, coaching, and technical support to WLO partners and community discussion leaders across the full Communities Care cycle, including facilitation, safe referrals, supervision, action planning, public declaration preparation, and action plan implementation

As the duty station is eligible for Rest and Recuperation (R&R), R&R travel will be included in the consultancy contract and reimbursed based on actual costs upon submission of supporting receipts, in accordance with UNICEF policies.

Minimum requirements

education:

  • Advanced degree in social science, psychology, social work, gender studies or in other similar fields.

Work experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working on GBV in humanitarian settings.
  • Strong GBV service delivery implementation experience and experience with GBV prevention programming e.g. Communities Care.
  • Proven experience of planning and facilitating training, workshops and other capacity building modalities.

Language Requirements:

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills:

  • Experience in collecting, collating and analysing data effectively with strong report writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively liaise with people in a wide range of functions in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently and productively, with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work productively in a team and independently, and to handle requests or issues as they arise.

  • A detailed technical proposal: Submission of a technical writing sample (report, toolkit adaptation, training report, assessment, guidance note, or programme document) demonstrating strong analytical, facilitation, and reporting skills related to GBV prevention, community-based care or social norms change programming.
