Mercy Community Aged Care Rockhampton supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Our services span the continuum of aged care, from Home Care to Social Support group, Allied Health and believe a big part of what we do is to help our clients flourish.
We are presently looking for the right people to provide care, support and assistance to a number of clients across Rockhampton. We have flexible shifts available to suit your lifestyle and as a not-for-profit you will enjoy the benefits of salary packaging to increase your take home pay.
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll work with clients in their homes, following their care plans, to provide support and ensure their needs are met.
$28.27 – $30.11 per hour plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting clients with their care requirements in accordance with their care plans and preferences
- Supporting clients with transportation and community access
- Monitoring their condition and reporting on any changes in condition or behaviour
- Providing in-home personal care and daily living assistance including administering medication, manual handling and domestic assistance
About you:
- Certificate III in Individualised Support, working towards or the equivalent
- Have your own vehicle and a Queensland Provisional Green or above clear Driver’s Licence with comprehensive insurance and service history
- Experience working alongside clients with cognitive and/or physical limitations and/or Qualifications in Aged Care would be looked upon favourably
