Skylight is recruiting for a Community Development Officer within the Community Connections program. This role is classified at SCHADS Level 4 and 0.7fte. The role will be based in the western region. Attendance at the Skylight Wayville office will be required at least several days per week.

Under the general direction of a supervisor, the Community Development Officer will coordinate and support partner agencies to provide appropriate services for community members. The role includes planning and chairing community partnership meetings, networking across the community, and also a portion of direct service delivery. Working closely with the Skylight Community Connections team members in other regions, there will also be administrative and reporting requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent community development skills, the confidence to plan and lead community meetings, and good administrative skills.
