The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation is a Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) appointed under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic.). We represent the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Traditional Owners of Melbourne and the Greater Melbourne region, and we take great pride in our responsibility for protecting and managing Aboriginal cultural heritage objects and places on Wurundjeri Country.
Wurundjeri Corporation is looking for an experienced and efficient Community Engagement Administrator to join the busy Community Engagement space at our Abbotsford offices in a permanent, part time capacity. Abbotsford location, free parking on site, permanent part time, 4 days per week, opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.
Reporting to the Education Projects & Community Engagement Officer, this varied role will be responsible for:
- Schedules and diaries
- Minute taking at meetings
- Recording and tracking expenses
- Data entry
- Coordination of meetings
- Assisting with organisation of events
- Other ad hoc duties and projects as required
The successful candidate will hold:
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Fantastic organisational skills and high-level administrative experience
- A fabulous eye for detail
- A strong track record in a similar role
- At least intermediate level proficiency in MS suite, including Excel
- A helpful, customer focused approach to their work
Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will be highly regarded, however is not essential.
