About the Role

The Community Fundraising Coordinator is part of our Revenue team and will support the delivery and development of fundraising events and corporate activations. This role can be based in either our Perth or Adelaide office, and you will focus on fundraising activity in the WA/SA/NT regions (supporting activities in other states if required).

Building strong relationships is integral in this role, and will help ensure you maximise fundraising outcomes, produce fantastic events, and maintain excellent stakeholder engagement and management.

  • Collaborative with a supportive and innovative team
  • Work across a variety of events, including community fundraisers, corporate activations and also supporting some our Major Outdoor Events team events
  • Work closely with our community fundraisers

Experience and Knowledge

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in events or community fundraising coordination/delivery.
  • Experience in social media and developing / executing communication plans.

Highly regarded:

  • Prior involvement in supporter journey planning, fundraising campaigns, and collateral creation.
  • Experience gained within a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Experience in event delivery.
  • Experience in supporting the running of an office
  • Confidence in making phone calls to both prospective and current supporters / organisations

Qualifications and Training

  • Qualifications and / or experience in event management, communications, marketing or similar.
  • Completion of Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) fundraising / compliance related courses, or similar, will be highly regarded.
  • Training and / or experience using peer-to-peer fundraising platforms (Funraisin preferred) and EDM tools.
  • Event delivery, including event logistics, recruitment of entrants and event volunteer recruitment.

Other requirements for this role:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • You are organised, adaptable and able to prioritise, meet tight deadlines and successfully coordinate multiple and varied tasks.
  • You are willing to use initiative and anticipate stakeholder needs, and can work both independently and collaboratively
  • You have an understanding and appreciation of risk management and safety, including willingness to adhere to Camp Quality’s WHS policies and procedure.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Some out-of-hours work, and inter/intra state travel will be required.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
