More about the role:
As the Community Fundraising Specialist, you’ll facilitate and execute fundraising campaigns and volunteer programs to support the McGrath Foundation’s mission. This includes strategic planning, personalised fundraiser engagement, and management of campaigns and events.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Strategic development, delivery and management of fundraising campaigns.
- Monitor and enhance the success of fundraising efforts, working with your manager to adjust strategies as needed.
- Develop and implement donor recognition strategies to encourage loyalty and acknowledge supporters.
- Lead cross-functional team projects to deliver organisational outcomes and improve the supporter experience.
- Manage and report on fundraising campaign budgets.
- Supporting event management across Pink Test and other major fundraising events.
- Support team members with the Pink Test and other major fundraising events for collective success.
This role is full-time, based in the Sydney CBD. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with the team working 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Who we are looking for:
We’re seeking a proactive and organised individual with:
- At least three years’ experience in fundraising, account management, or donor relationship roles.
- Proven ability to meet financial targets through strategic planning and relationship building.
- Experience with fundraising software (e.g., Salesforce, Fundraisin).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working independently and in a team.
- Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s licence (preferred).
