Keene Housing (KH) is a recognized leader in affordable housing and resident services. As a participant in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Moving to Work (MTW) Demonstration Program, KH is advancing innovative approaches to policy reform, housing development, and resident engagement.

The Community Garden Coordinator (CGC) organizes and works with residents to create, manage, and expand community gardens located at Keene Housing properties in Keene, Swanzey and Marlborough, NH. The ideal candidate enjoys working with diverse groups, including low- and moderate-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, and brings a strong interest in community engagement and food access.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in social services, community organization and advocacy, horticulture, or a related field, or a minimum of two years of equivalent work experience. Qualified candidates must demonstrate knowledge of and experience with vegetable gardening and/or farming. Previous experience in program administration or community-based programming is preferred.
