We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern is Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00.In order to apply for this position you must have a Live PIN with the NMC.UKApplications from 2024 Newly Qualified Nurse/Midwife, will not be considered for this post.Band 5 Inverclyde Community Mental Health ServicesCommunity Mental Health position at Band 5 in Inverclyde Adult Community Mental Health Team within which The Community Response Service is integrated.This is an integrated and comprehensive multi-disciplinary Mental Health Team providing care to individuals with complex mental health needs and their families or carers within the Inverclyde area. Within this team, sits the Community Response Service which is a comprehensive multi-disciplinary service providing urgent response and assessment of clients with mental health needs. You may be required to provide support to/be rotated into this service at points in the future, under the supervision of Band 6 staff.You will carry responsibility for managing your own caseload and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary care team. You will do so under the supervision of a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse Specialist.You will be responsible for the organisation and facilitation of Depot/Clozapine/Lithium treatment clinics and Physical Health and Wellbeing clinics.You will be responsible for the maintenance of your own high clinical and professional standards of practice and carry delegated responsibility for the supervision of Support Staff.The service is committed to continuous professional development and will afford support to meet training and development needs.Essential:
