We are looking for a casual disability support worker to join our Community Participation and visit clients in-home in the Parramatta and Kellyville areas. A valid drivers license is a must and the shifts range from 2 to 6 hours.

About the role
In this role, some of the key responsibilities include:
- Provide individual support to clients in their own homes.
- Undertake a range of general support duties to assist clients in implementing Individual Support Plans.
- Complete routine and ad hoc cleaning tasks as required.
- Use positive behaviour support and active support approaches when working with clients and comply with the use of restrictive practices.
- Contribute to building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, (including families and carers).
About you
- Relevant qualifications (minimum Cert IV in Disability or Individual Support)
- Sound interpersonal, role modelling and customer service skills.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing environments.
- Understanding and commitment to the Disability Service Standards and WHS.
- Understanding of human rights and the challenges facing those with a disability.
- Current P2 Drivers Licence and above is a must.
- Experience in working with and supporting adults deemed as having significant complexity in their lives.
- Ability to keep confidentiality at all the time.
