Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Funding Services

• Review completeness of Funding requests from implementing partners prior to submission to DCOP and COP for approval
• Conduct budget reviews of all Funding requests before submission to DCOP and COP for approval
• Provide day to day grant management support to the wider CSS implementing partners
• Provide guidance to CSS implementing partners on costings for Funding requests

Post-Funding Services

• Participate in all CSS meetings and provide the following support:
• Facilitate payments/perdiems to all meeting participants Ensure that all meeting expenses (perdiems, fuel costs etc) have been reconciled
• Ensure that the CSS implementing partner has submitted activity reports before approving the next Funding request

Provide support in documentation of challenges, lessons learnt and best practices to ensure quality program implementation by partners

Knowledge, qualification and experience required;

• Applicants should have a minimum of Bachelors Degree in Public Health or the equivalent
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix/complex organizational relationship requiring strong influencing and negotiating skills.
• Knowledge and skills in project or fiscal budgeting and work plan development
• 1-2 years experience in RSSH (CSS) or community health management will be an added advantage
