Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.The Company Secretary will be responsible for ensuring that GEDU complies with standard financial and legal practices and maintains high standards of corporate governance. This role requires a detailed understanding of regulatory requirements and strong communication skills to liaise with board members and senior management.

  • Assisting with new entity creation within UK and internationally
  • Reviewing legal agreements
  • Management and overview of regulatory submissions within the UK and internationally.
  • Liaison with statutory auditors regarding annual filings.
  • Assistance with matters on Mergers & Acquisitions including due diligence workflows.
  • Maintaining internal company records and statutory files.
  • Advising members of the senior leadership team on corporate governance matters.
  • Oversee compliance with GDPR and data protection laws, implementing policies and practices to safeguard sensitive information and minimize risk of data breaches.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. Law, Business administration).
  • Prior experience in corporate law
  • Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a corporate environment, preferably at the group level.
  • In-depth knowledge of company law and corporate governance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and office tools.
