Who we are
Texas A&M University’s Division of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) provides HR services in support of the vision and mission of Texas A&M University’s eighteen colleges and departments and one branch campus in Qatar. HROE is made up of five departments covering Organizational Consulting & Resolution Management (OCRM), Professional Development, Strategic Planning, Talent Management and Total Rewards. Classification and Compensation (a part of Total Rewards) provides administration of non-faculty staff titles and corresponding pay rates and serves as the point of contact for departments regarding these matters.
What we want
The Compensation Specialist II will be responsible for assisting in the creation and maintenance of the TAMU compensation program. Following prescribed compensation strategies, the Compensation Specialist II will provide recommendations on various compensation projects to include market reviews, adjustments, compression issues, etc. Additionally, this position will review and provide recommendations on requests for temporary salary increases and out of cycle pay increases (merit, hiring salary adjustment, job related skill enhancement pay increase, market, and/or counteroffer). Participates on strategic HR related projects as a subject matter expert for compensation and related issues.
