InterQuest are supporting a large banking corporation with the search for a Compliance Manager to join the advisory team, focusing on providing Data Protection and Data Privacy advise to all business areas. Key Responsibilities
– Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program for various business functions, including:
o Conducting Compliance Risk Assessments
o Drafting annual compliance plans
o Managing Business Unit Compliance Assessments
o Advising on issue management, regulatory change, and product approvals
– Provide expert guidance to business units on Data Protection and Data Privacy matters
– Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements and remediation activities as needed.
– Contribute to the creation and maintenance of compliance-related policies and training programs.
– Deliver insights and updates to senior compliance leaders regarding incident resolution, regulatory developments, and significant projects.
Qualifications
– Demonstrable experience of Compliance Advisory, particularly Data Protection and Privacy with a background in retail banking and/ or payments.
– Strong regulatory knowledge
– Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and experience working in matrixed and international environments.
– Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
