Computer Science one-year Faculty Appointment

Bethel University invites applications for a full-time one-year faculty position in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, with a possibility of renewal.

 

● Teach the equivalent of a full six-course load in the field of Computer Science, likely including some combination of the following: Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence,     Data Mining and Machine Learning, Database Systems, Data Structures, and introductory-level programming for majors and non-majors
● Fulfill regular faculty responsibilities, including involvement in departmental activities
● Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline

● Strong teaching skills
● Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a team
● Understanding of and commitment to Bethel’s efforts to develop as an inclusive university community

College teaching experience preferred

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field required

Compensation:   

• Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience
