| Job Description: |
Leads, manages, coordinates, and executes career fairs and events that align with the strategic priorities to advance career development, student success, talent management, and experience/opportunities for students and learners. Responsible for the strategic implementation and management of career fairs, outreach events and other departmental strategic programs including logistics, communications, promotions, and reporting. Overall, aids in the management 20 career fairs and/or divisional programs per academic year to advance career outcomes and professional development. Responsible for the events collaboration model with campus, design planning structures, communication standards, and effective technology use best practices. Provides consultative services to career center staff, Division of Student Life, and other campus members to support the execution of niche events and programs for the needs of the diverse student body. Works with a team of direct and indirect reports to support event and program logistics, communications, engagement, and management. Conducts special projects or participates in interdepartmental work groups and performs confidential or non-routine administrative duties as needed. Collaborates with staff and clients to establish event goals and objectives; develops and recommends event operating procedures; establishes and manages event planning timelines; creates task assignments; and proposes resources needed to execute the event. Collaborates with marketing and communication to plan and execute all event-related promotional and other printed materials. Prepares budgetary recommendations and works with vendors to provide best applicable services. Maintains updated records and files associated with programming and events. To include, but not limited to event vendor relationships, student and partners feedback and internal and external event analysis, peer school research, and event attendance data. Conducts training and provides resources for staff related to career events or career center operational/administrative procedures. Attends college and university-wide meetings to represent the career center and ensure the center’s compliance with established policies and procedures. Aids in maintaining quantitative and qualitative records for various types of event and operational interactions for assessment and reporting purposes to demonstrate impact. Responsible for tracking and reporting on engagement for stakeholders. Incumbent maintains budgetary records related to the position. Lives out the career center’s values in all aspects of their job functions. Provides divisional citizenship support to other units, as needed. |

53,000 |
| Minimum Requirements: |
A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience; or a high school diploma and seven years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
