Conservation Academy Supervisor for full job description
The Conservation Academy Supervisor assists program participants (ages 18-24) in taking the next step toward employment in the conservation and land management field, including helping members prepare for certification testing, providing pre-apprentice aligned instruction in the field, and developing relationships with potential employers. Additional responsibilities include planning and coordinating material, equipment, and crew work activities; implementing and enforcing all OFS safety rules, guidelines, and policies; and assigning program participant work duties and motivating participants to work together as a team. Communicates regularly with the Director of Legacy and Conservation concerning project progress, material needs, participant progress and needed technical assistance.
