BirdLife International is the world’s largest nature conservation partnership. Through our

We are looking for someone to provide administrative and secretarial support to BirdLife
International’s Director of Conservation, and administrative support to the Conservation
Division’s programmes and projects including the CEPF Mediterranean Regional Implementation
Team.
This person will:
- Have experience with finance management, including the use of spread sheets, project
financial reports and record keeping, and working alongside finance managers. - Have experience in project management including contracting, invoicing, chasing finance and
technical reporting, managing information systems keeping account of contractual obligations. - Be working alongside technical staff providing administrative support.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Track record of experience in a similar position, preferably with an NGO.
- Proactive and pre-emptive approach.
- Very well organised, with the ability to keep track of a wide variety of projects,
initiatives, and tasks. With great attention to detail. - Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision.
- Has the confidence to influence and work with staff at a senior level.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- People oriented, work as a key team player and able to interact with a wide diversity of
people.
