Conservation Editor/Writer

Seeking a writer/editor to assist a national conservation organization with aggregating policy and member news, as well as contributing to the creation of original content. This position will work with communications staff from around the country to showcase how members are helping to put conservation on the ground. 

Monthly feature story (700-1,000 words, 1-3 sources)
Monthly Q&A piece (5-10 questions + intro)
Weekly aggregate of relevant conservation policy and member/partner news

The weekly aggregate is expected to require 2-3 hours per week. The monthly content is expected to require 4-5 hours.

Ideal candidates will have writing/editing experience and a general understanding of conservation programs and practices.

*this is a qualified independent contractor position. All work can be done remote.
