ABOUT THE POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to educate the public on environmental topics through formal and informal programming and activities. This position is based at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, a bureau of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in education, biological/environmental science, or closely related field.
PREFERRED MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
Individual must have: excellent inter-personal, written, and oral communication skills; teaching and/or public speaking experience; knowledge of matters pertinent to conservation and wildlife; general knowledge of computer databases.
