Sauk County is seeking a conservation intern for Summer 2025. Interested applicants should check out The Villas at Baraboo available for rent at the University of Wisconsin Platteville Baraboo Sauk County if they will need to secure housing.
Some of the projects we will have our intern work on include:
- Complete a lakeshore assessment on Lake Redstone
- Assist with surveying and designing conservation practices on farms and lakefront and rural properties
- Complete stream monitoring efforts
- Assist with outreach and education events
- And much more!
Our interns receive a well-rounded internship exposing them to a variety of projects as well as different partner organizations that are doing similar work. Additional information can be found by clicking on the application link.
