Are you keen to work in conservation science?
Plantlife are looking for a Conservation Science intern to join our science team. This
internship will provide an individual with opportunities to develop their skills in citizen
science programmes, GIS mapping, public engagement and scientific publishing.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a 12-month paid internship within our science team.
Working with a range of teams across Plantlife, you will assist in the development and delivery
of citizen science programmes, such as Waxcap Watch, supporting colleagues to collect,
interpret and communicate data, and create learning resources for citizen scientists. You will
also provide support to publish outcomes and impact of conservation activities. We will provide
mentoring, feedback and learning opportunities to support your professional development.
You will have an active interest in nature, conservation, and citizen science, and be keen to
develop a career in conservation science. You will be self-motivated, an excellent
communicator, and able to critically analyse information from a range of sources.
