Conservation Specialist

Athens Conservancy, a land trust based in Athens, Ohio, is seeking applicants for the job of Conservation Specialist. This is a contract job and includes tasks related to land acquisition and monitoring for both conservation easement and fee simple properties.  Position responsibilities include directing conservation easement and fee simple land acquisition projects in collaboration with staff, board members,volunteers, landowners, funders, partners, and contractors. Also included is the development and implementation of an effective annual monitoring program for conservation easements and fee simple properties.
