Overall Purpose
Following the outbreak of the fighting in Sudan in Mid-April 2023, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Save the Children International (SCI) and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) established a Protection Consortium project funded by FCDO. The project will target those who are facing heightened protection risk or are exposed to rights violations as a result of protracted crises and the ongoing conflict. The consortium will provide protection to vulnerable populations in Sudan affected by ongoing crisis. This will include provision of General Protection, GBV & Child Protection services, legal assistance, support to Persons with Specific Needs, Housing, Land and Property rights as well as coordination and advocacy.
