Location
 

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.


Job Summary
 

Assists Construction Project Managers and Campus Planners in organizing ongoing construction projects. Is responsible for the construction project intake process from discovery, assessment, to planning. Monitors project plans and schedules and works closely with Project Managers to ensure priorities are managed appropriately.


Responsibilities
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains and monitors project intake including assessment, and planning
2. Assists Project Manager in determining project requirements
3. Provides essential administrative support to department, including calendar management, scheduling high-priority meetings, and handling critical correspondence, maintaining confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion
4. Develops and delivers executive-level communications, presentations, and reports, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with the strategic goals of the division
5. Develops and maintains communication plans, decision matrix, and issues log as required by the project
6. Ensures project file management requirements are met including performing post-project audits to ensure project closeout documentation is complete
7. Provides necessary information for project status reporting Distributes meeting agendas, based on approval
8. Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings
9. Documents meeting notes and follow up key action items and decisions
10. Provides administrative support as necessary


Required Qualifications
 

Educational Requirements
Associate’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Three (3) years of related work experience, preferably in construction or facilties project management


Preferred Qualifications
 

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field


Proposed Salary
 

The budgeted salary range is $60,920 to $80,000.  Offers are based on relevant experience.

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
