Construction Solicitor A top-tier national practice is seeking a talented and ambitious Construction Solicitor to join their thriving London office. This is a unique opportunity to work with an elite team handling high-profile non-contentious construction matters for a broad range of clients, from developers and contractors to major corporates and public sector bodies, both in the UK and internationally. The Role: – Drafting and Negotiating Key Contracts: Handling JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and bespoke construction contracts, as well as development agreements, consultant appointments, and collateral warranties. – Project Lifecycle Support: Advising on procurement strategies, project delivery, and risk management across the construction lifecycle. – Development and Infrastructure Projects: Working on significant commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, as well as infrastructure projects such as energy and transport. – Project Finance and Due Diligence: Supporting clients in securing project finance, including reviewing and preparing construction-related documentation for funding arrangements. – Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Liaising closely with colleagues across other practice areas such as real estate, banking, and corporate, ensuring seamless legal support on complex transactions. You will work alongside a team of experienced specialists, gaining exposure to cutting-edge projects and advising clients on high-value, strategic developments. About You: – NQ to 2 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law, gained from a well-regarded practice. – Strong Technical Skills: Demonstrable experience in drafting and negotiating construction documentation and advising on procurement processes. – Commercial Awareness: Ability to understand clients’ commercial objectives and tailor advice to their needs. – Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas. – Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
