Job Description
AECOM’s Philadelphia office seeking an experienced construction professional to join our Program Management support team by providing field oversight and monitoring of the daily construction activities for William H. Gray III 30th Street Station Redevelopment Project. AECOM is supporting Amtrak in the delivery of this multi-year project, a comprehensive redevelopment of the historic station that will see the nearly 100-year-old facility be restored to enhance user experience by modernizing all building systems, introducing new amenities, reinvigorating the retail offerings, historic preservation/restoration, improving the existing office spaces above the station, and creating a new public plaza along Market Street.
This opportunity involves field inspection and documentation of construction work performed by others, monitoring the construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and other contract documents, as well as applicable codes to protect the client’s interests. Typical duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating construction field work tasks and activities to ensure compliance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
Performs basic shop drawing review and ensures that procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications.
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
Reviews contractor’s daily construction reports for accuracy, thoroughness and consistency.
Regularly reviews contractor’s work, documents project progress with photos and prepares reports on construction progress.
Consults with Construction Manager on work progress and construction problems, proactively recommends solutions, assists in the resolution of issues.
Performs office work when needed including but not limited to; prepares meeting agendas and meeting minutes, assists in processing and maintains tracking logs for construction issues and non-compliance issues, other deliverables.
Reviewing construction documents and gains familiarity with the quality of work performed using inspection checklists.
Writes daily inspection reports and tracks work performed.
Responsible for coordinating the tracking and development of turnover and closeout documentation including turnover inspections, as-built drawings, commissioning documents, O&M and Warranty Certificates.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
HS + eight years or more or demonstrated equivalency of experience and /or education.
Valid Driver’s license and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $149,000.00.
