Towards external knowledge management, the consultant will work to (a) provide quarterly updates to DGCA on any changes to content on unicef.org; (b) development and management of select external communication portals, including Knowledge at UNIC hosted by DAPM.
The consultant will be supervised by the Partnerships Specialist in the Office of Director, PG-Health. The consultant will collaborate with colleagues from UNICEF Regional and Country Offices, Unit Leads and the Knowledge Management focal points in the Health Programme Team, as well as others in relevant divisions/offices to support knowledge management towards the implementation of Health results in the 2022-25 Strategic Plan.

BACKGROUND
Purpose of Activity/Assignment:
Supportive to the realization of health results in the 2022-25 Strategic Plan, the Health Programme Team is currently implemented its Knowledge Management approach, aligned to the corporate standards, to support the work of the UNICEF Health workforce in regions and country offices. This includes the implementation of: a) the corporate Document Management System for storing and retrieving documents systematically and efficiently across the organization; b) Communication and collaboration sites over the SharePoint portal; c) Knowledge base for papers, research, evaluations, publications; d) database of e-learnings; e) Yammer; and f) Periodic newsletters.

The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. Selected candidates are subject to confirmation of fully-vaccinated status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a World Health Organization (WHO)-endorsed vaccine, which must be met prior to taking up the assignment. It does not apply to consultants who will work remotely and are not expected to work on or visit UNICEF premises, programme delivery locations or directly interact with communities UNICEF works with, nor to travel to perform functions for UNICEF for the duration of their consultancy contracts.
