VSO is the world’s leading international non-governmental organisation that works through volunteers to create a fair world for everyone. The consultant will lead the endline evaluation of the Youth and Women Empowerment Project in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar. They will design surveys, train enumerators, and collect and analyze data from primary actors (women, youth, PWDs, marginalized groups), model mother groups, youth clubs, and relevant stakeholders. The final report will cover skills development, employment challenges, access to capital, gender equality, and social enterprise impact.
The findings will be crucial for evaluating project outcomes, measuring key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying challenges, and informing future program improvements. The consultant will ensure ethical data collection, conduct field visits if needed, and collaborate with VSO Bangladesh for quality assurance.
We seek a consultant with expertise in livelihoods, youth and women empowerment, and social enterprise development in marginalized communities. The ideal candidate should have experience in impact assessments, field research, data analysis, and report writing. Proficiency in KOBO tools for data collection is preferred. The consultant must be skilled in evaluating skills development, employment challenges, and access to capital. Familiarity with gender equality, MSME development, and policy advocacy in Bangladesh is essential for providing actionable recommendations.
