The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.
In Guatemala, to address the issue of Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR), the Government of Guatemala has integrated a coordination platform called “Mesa de Restauración del Paisaje Forestal”, which is led by the National Forest Institute (INAB, for its acronym in Spanish) and integrated by a Technical Committee that aims to promote FLR through sustainable mechanisms that increase the supply of ecosystem goods and services and increase the income of the beneficiary population.
