The purpose of this assignment is to strategically redesign and tailor the existing Child Rights for Business (CRB) training content to resonate with philanthropists, ensuring it reflects their motivations and insights. This will involve engaging with past participants from similar audiences to incorporate their inspirations into the training design. The content will not only undergo a visual overhaul but will also be contextualized to align with the current global landscape and UNICEF’s mission, emphasizing the urgent need to address child rights. Additionally, the training will be condensed from a 3-day format into a 1-day session, including 3-5 actionable calls to engage participants effectively.
How can you make a difference?
- Maintain the existing CRB training content while tailoring and redesigning it to appeal to Philanthropists.
- Engage with former training participant(s) (via teams or zoom) from that same type of audience, asking what inspired them, and reflect that in the design of the training (details and engagement to be facilitated by UNICEF).
- Ensure that the training programme considers audience insights and motivations – through not only a visual redesign but also a strategic pivot to make the content more relevant to an audience (who probably has never thought/heard of it before).
- Ensure that this training is contextualized based on the current state of the world and UNICEF’s unique position to shape the future for children, while creating a sense of urgency of why child rights cannot wait to be addressed.
- Adapt and rewrite the 3-day training content into a 1-day format based on the information listed in the background section.
- Prepare and include into the training programme 3-5 clear calls for action to be demanded from the audience who attended the training.
Work Assignments Overview & Deliverables
Redesign the CRB training to resonate with philanthropists by incorporating their motivations and insights, gathered from past participants. The content will be visually refreshed and aligned with current global issues and UNICEF’s mission, emphasizing child rights. The training will be condensed from three days to one, featuring 3-5 actionable steps to engage participants effectively.
- 1 PPT deck showcasing the strategy the vendor is willing to adopt in the training design and approach.
- Comprehensive redesigned CRB training materials based on the phased scope above – digital (x1) and print (x30) using an engaging method, format and flow that appeals to the target audience.
- Trainer’s guide and supporting documents. (x1 set)
- Finalized training programme ready for deployment. (x1)

Educational Background:
- A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in education, communication, social sciences, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or training content development.
- Expertise in Child Rights- related topics and content.
- Proven experience working with or designing content for high-net-worth individuals, philanthropists, decision makers is an asset.
- Previous experience with UNICEF or similar international organizations is an asset.
- Strong understanding of child rights and global humanitarian issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into engaging and accessible training content.
- Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and digital tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
