Organizational Setting

The Division of Human Resources (MTHR), within the Department of Management, plans, acquires and manages human resources to effectively implement the IAEA programmes. It thus delivers the full spectrum of human resource services, including HR organizational development and planning, talent acquisition and development, performance management, and administration of compensation and benefits. The Division serves a multicultural workforce of approximately 2300 people from diverse scientific, technical, managerial and professional disciplines.

Main Purpose

The Agency has launched a pulse check in Safeguard as of 29 April 2024 as part of its respectful and inclusive working place initiative. The pulse check will cover a population of approximately 900 staff, consultants and interns in the Department, which includes 26 questions consisting of open comments too.
The consultant will provide technical input and expertise reviewing and analysing the data, and prepare the final redacted reports, as appropriate.

Functions / Key Results Expected

  • Review all open comments and redact the statements which would disclose the anonymity of the feedback provider or any other person in the organization. Review and redact any disrespectful or inappropriate comment has to be reviewed and redacted.
  • Review and amend any rating/sentiments and topics allocated to each comment by the AI tool on the Culture Amp platform, as and when needed.
  • Prepare reports for each SG division including the reviewed and redacted open comments; and delivered to MTHR in a protected format codified with unique passwords.
  • Any other relevant discussions and tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Mediation
  • Staff Relations Management

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public relations, Human Resource Management, English Language or related areas.
  • Minimum of five years of professional working experience in HR.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

Remuneration

The remuneration for this consultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of € 300, based on qualifications and experience. In case duty travel is required within the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) and travel costs are provided. Health coverage and pension fund are the responsibility of the incumbent.
