We understand that our clients need access to highly qualified lawyers, project managers and paralegals, often at short notice and/or for short periods, whether that be to meet internal demands, backfill leave, provide cover during recruitment or to assist with projects. We deliver a seamless, fast and trusted solution to these issues.Essential skills and experienceAshurst Reach are recruiting independent consultants to join our panel on a non-exclusive basis. We are looking for consultant lawyers with:

  • A UK legal qualification and a valid practising certificate (or equivalent) which entitles you to practise as a lawyer in the UK.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience
  • Enthusiastic and collaborative approach,
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise
  • The ability to understand and adapt to the needs of a new business quickly
  • A consultant mindset, including a highly professional, flexible and adaptable outlook and approach;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Specialisms required include:Corporate – M&A (public and private), private equity, joint ventures, equity capital markets and reorganisationsGeneral Commercial – From commercial contracts, tech and telecoms, outsourcing, IP and data protection.Banking, Funds and Finance – includes acquisition, fund and leveraged finance, financial regulation and capital markets advice including derivatives, structured products and securitisation.Litigation – Disputes experience in corporate, banking and finance sectors, or regulatory investigations.Real Estate – acquisitions, financing, disposals and landlord and tenant work.The skillsets listed above are condensed into key areas that are most often requested.
