We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist in OPMH to join our OPMH CMHT in Winchester and Basingstoke, Mid & North Hampshire Division. The post holder will be based at Avalon House, Winchester, or Parklands House, Basingstoke, and will become part of a team of consultants working in the Community.Why work with us?

In locations across Winchester, and Basingstoke.You must be registered with a licence to practice with the GMC with a CCT in General Adult Psychiatry. or Old Age Psychiatry or MRCPsych or recognised equivalent is a requirement for this post. Qualifications
Essential

  • Full Registration with the General Medical CouncilMRCPsych or recognised equivalentEligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview. CCT in Older Persons Mental Health.Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.

Desirable

  • Prior experience of Older Persons Mental HealthPrior experience of working with detained/Mental Health inpatients as senior trainee or consultant.Prior experience in please add in any other essential clinical requirements.Experience of audit and an understanding of the principles of clinical governance.
