Position: Project Manager – Curiosity-Based STEM learning

About the project:
ISPF’s project ignites curiosity-based STEM learning (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) in grades 7-10! This program empowers students in government schools to solve real-world problems using science & waste materials! Government school teachers are trained in innovative methods to guide students who showcase their projects at fairs! The project is currently running in Bangalore, Chennai, Noida and Gurugram, covering 10 schools in each location.
About Company
Innovation and Science Promotion Foundation (ISPF) and its sister organisation ThinkTac have been promoting hands-on science and 21st-century skill development for the last decade. The programmes that will be deployed are approved by CBSE and integrated by NCERT (Diksha), Oxford University Press, Pratham and several other book publishers. The programmes are mandatory for students in Karnataka and Uttarakhand, and multi-district pilots are being developed in several additional states. website (www.ispf.ngo)
Role Overview:
Lead the educational initiative in allocated locations, overseeing implementation, stakeholder engagement, and compliance.
Theme: Impact the STEM education landscape in govt. Schools, devise replicable best practices.
Responsibilities: Strategic leadership, project management, STEM coach support, capacity building, data-driven decision-making, reporting & compliance, assessment, stakeholder engagement, maintaining compliance, adaptability & initiative. Any other task assigned by the line manager from time to time as per organizational requirements.
Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Rural Management, Social Work, Education or related field, 5+ years project management experience, communication & leadership skills, collaboration & adaptability, technical proficiency, willingness to travel to government schools, fluency in English & local languages.
Desirable: STEM expertise or/and experience of working with education departments at districts/state/s.
