You do not need deep technical expertise. Instead, you need an understanding and passion for how technology can benefit our clients. As part of the team, you should be able to listen to the business needs and translate them into effective solutions. Specifically, you will be helping our clients to:Imagine and design digital, technology, and cloud transformation programmes, working with specialists from both the client and delivery teams to define the solutions which will meet the client’s needs as well as the delivery means needed to get them there.Deliver and implement digital, technology, and cloud transformation projects and programmes, providing the delivery expertise required to support the technology changes and make sure the business is ready to accept and run themAssure (as part of a team) or support in the recovery of troubled projects and programmes Solution & Service Delivery (SSD)Within our Business Operations offering portfolio, our SSD operating unit is a fast growing, multi-disciplinary team with experience in technology project and programme delivery. We pride ourselves on getting things done through harnessing a broad range of agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies across all phases of the project’s lifecycle. Our SSD operating unit is broken down into three sub-operating units:

  • Core Platform Implementation (CPI)
  • Technology Enabled Transformation (TET)
  • Agile Delivery Centre of Excellence (ACE)

In addition, the following skills would be desirable for any successful candidate:

  • Experience in delivering complex technology transformation projects and programmes
  • Experience in working within the Defence & Security industry
  • Ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders with strong communication skills
  • Experience in working with business process owners and technical teams to define operational requirements
  • Practical examples of having worked across one or more of a project’s lifecycle
  • Ability to define and drive the delivery of project plans including developing service transition plans
  • Experience in leading delivery teams in both traditional/hybrid and agile methodologies
  • Understanding of the procurement lifecycle, requirements gathering, evaluation techniques, negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate financial acumen through the management of engagement financials
  • Capture and manage project and programme risks and issues
  • One or more recognised delivery certification(s) such as PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, MSP, Certified Agile, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agile or ITIL
  • Experience with one or more of the most common technologies involved in digital delivery (for example Salesforce, AWS, Google Cloud, SAP)
