Scope of Work:
The Global Alliance to end AIDS in children by 2030 is co-convened by UNICEF WHO and UNAIDS together with other community and civil society partners. Linked to the work of the Global Alliance, over the past year there has been a growing push to advance the HIV EMTCT agenda through promotion of “Triple Elimination” of vertical transmission of HIV syphilis and hepatitis B. Although there is global interest including from governments and donors and a recently developed WHO framework for triple elimination, in many cases, countries lack the implementation guidance and technical support to roll out Triple Elimination.
