BACKGROUND:

World Vision (WV) implementing a project in Salah al-Din, Anbar, Kirkuk, and Nineveh. The project aims to help integrate young adults, including IDPs, returnees, and host communities, into their societies and economies by providing alternative socioeconomic opportunities, providing mental health and psychosocial support, promoting equality between male and female and women’s empowerment, and engaging youth in building social cohesion. 

The purpose of this consultancy/Trainers is to deliver WV will focus on skills development. Additionally, vocational training, programs will be implemented to improve education levels. Our goal is to ensure that participants, including Al Hol camp returnees and community members, have improved access to job opportunities and the ability to progress within their communities, The project aims to deliver vocational training courses to a minimum of 150 students in Baaj district (male and female). It emphasizes the importance of skills development and employment by offering Demand-Driven Vocational Training. This track is designed to equip 150 individuals, ensuring they acquire practical skills aligned with market demands. By tailoring the training programs to meet the specific needs of the local job market, participants are better positioned for successful economic reintegration. The ultimate goal is to enhance employability, empower individuals with sustainable skills, and bridge the gap between workforce demand and supply.

 

Key Objectives or tasks

The specific objectives required under this training/consultancy are:

• Providing and developing a technical training curriculum according to organizational requirements and depending on MoLSA- Iraq standards.
• Time management, good commitment for training schedule.
• Provision of 40 days of training, 6 weeks, with 20 hours/ week with actual 4 hours per day.
• Liaising with project staff to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.
• Pre-Post test for the course participants.
• Review beneficiaries’ performance and learning, enabling them use the learnt modules and encourage for participation.
• Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds with Good interpersonal skills and communication with all project beneficiaries.
• Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects, to enable the beneficiaries to build their capacities during the vocational training.
• design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organization and project needs in the frame of vocational training with enhancing the participants to conduct practical activities within training days.

• The qualified candidates should be an experienced in a Theoretical and practical methods of the assigned topic.
• More than 5 years of relevant and progressive experience working in the assigned course topic.
• Training and supervision experience required.
• Demonstrable experience creating and conducting vocational training, presentations, or workshops.
• Experience in developing Pre-Post test for the trainees according to the MOLSA standards.
• Familiar with the MOLSA standards.
• Specific qualification in ToT (training of trainers)
• Experience in preparing training material, organizing, and facilitating training, and capacity building
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in Arabic.

Interested supplier should provide the following documents with the offer:

Your offer comprising of Technical and Financial proposal, should be submitted to following email

The WV Iraq reserves the right to split an award/award (Per subject) and to consider localized award/awards between any proposers in any combination, as it may deem appropriate, without prior written acceptance of the proposers.

 

WV Iraq shall not consider any Proposal that arrives after the deadline for submission of Proposals. Any Proposal received by WV Iraq after the deadline for submission of Proposals shall be declared late, rejected, and returned unopened to the Proposer.

   

Please note only Bidders that have passed the technical evaluation process will be considered for financial proposal evaluation.

 

Failure to submit all the technical documents mentioned in the TOR & financial offer might lead to disqualification of the Bidder.
