Request for Proposal
The goal is to partner with an organization capable of assisting MAGENTA in creating
and delivering a specialized training program on gender equality and children’s rights to NGOs in Morocco.
• Phase 1: Project launch
Following the kick-off meeting which will detail the expectations, MAGENTA and its
partner will consult with the project team to produce a launch note, updating the initial
technical proposal and work plan schedule.
- Activities and Deliverables:
• Identification and mapping of 50 to 60 NGOs and associations across three
regions to train a total of 40 organizations.
• Recruitment of 3 training assistants from the identified NGOs and 3 trainers
from the partner’s firm for facilitating the training.
• Contacting 40 NGOs and associations to confirm their interest, ensuring at
least 40 confirmations.
• Supporting literature review and conducting necessary consultations.
• Preliminary report including all the above activities.
• Phase 2: Module development
The partner will develop a logistical plan for training and organize the facilitators’ travel
to the regions. They will also suggest venues for training sessions and handle the
logistics in the three selected regional clusters.
- Activities and Deliverables:
• Planning and organizing venue selection and travel arrangements for
training sessions.
• Aligning training modules with the Moroccan context, especially the
contexts of the Sous Massa, North (Tanger Tetouan Hoceima), and Oriental
regions.
• Initially developing modules in French, which will then be translated into
Darija and Amazigh by the partner, based on client demand.
• Training guide for trainers, support slides, and materials for each session.
• Phase 3: Training delivery
This phase focuses on the mobilization of the partner for a series of 11 training
sessions. The initial ‘Training of Trainers’ session in Casablanca is designed to
acquaint trainers with the training modules. Post-training, these trainers will lead
sessions in various regions. The partner will oversee the quality of these regional
training courses, particularly by ensuring the presence of an experienced consultant
at each session. Training assistants, once familiar with the modules, will actively co-
facilitate subsequent sessions. The partner will also manage the transportation
logistics for the regions.
To ensure the effectiveness of the trainings, each session will be limited to 15-16
participants, targeting a total engagement of 150-160 individuals, in addition to the 3
assistants and the initial MAGENTA team. Following each training, the partner is
expected to conduct a debriefing session with MAGENTA, draft a training report, and
collect visual supporting materials. Participants will also be asked to complete an
evaluation form, the results of which will be compiled and shared with MAGENTA.
These efforts aim to gather insights for recommendations to the project sponsor and
to identify existing or promising initiatives within the NGOs.
Furthermore, the partner will identify key relays for sharing the training online via social
media and organizational platforms, enhancing the training’s reach and application.
- Activities and Deliverables:
• A comprehensive report of the ‘Training of Trainers’ including the methodology, execution, and feedback.
• Detailed reports from each regional training session, including the list of participants, the training process, and outcomes.
• A final report on all training sessions encompassing debriefings with MAGENTA, contributions to identifying social media and platforms for online dissemination and sharing evaluation results with MAGENTA.
• Project duration: 6-month project duration, with specific activities and deliverables scheduled for completion in their respective phases.
