At Yoga and Sport with Refugees (YSR), we are looking for people who are as passionate about sport as we are. Since 2017 we have been building a strong and inclusive community through sport. We are looking for reliable creatives who can transform our activities on the ground into captivating content!
Our communications team is looking for creative support. Are you a social media master? Are you a pro at metrics, SAO and analytics? Or do you prefer brainstorming and envisioning strategies? Or are you a passionate photographer? Then you might just be the perfect match to join our communications team as a volunteer!
Your help is appreciated off-site or in one of our locations, in either Athens, Ioannina or Lesvos, where you will also be active within our community in the gym itself! The volunteers’ responsibility includes completing tasks assigned by the organization and coordination team. To be successful as a volunteer in Yoga and Sport with Refugees, you should demonstrate independent working skills, love sport and be comfortable with teamwork.
Communication team
Our communication team strives to share our organizational mission and vision into the world and thus positively influence the public perception of displaced people. We are a dynamic team, so if you are full of ideas, interested in design and media and have a visual finesse, then apply now!
In the communication team we manage all of the media platforms, work in advocacy, plan global campaigns, work on the website, finalize monthly reports and newsletters, and create visuals. We also work closely in partner management and take a more strategic role in the development of the organization.

What we’re looking for:
- Minimum age of 21
- Commitment of at least 6 weeks
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passionate about media
- Passion for Sport and human rights
- Some experience in administrative tasks
- Eagerness to create, evolve and take on new challenges
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong knowledge of Canva and other design programs
- Ability to create captivating content in both REEL and photo formats

We are currently looking for someone to support content creation in Athens as soon as possible.
